Part of the mission of the Bike Safety, Education and Maintenance department at LifeCycle is to increase the use of bicycles for everyday activity, by teaching those new to the art of cycling the fundamentals of bike safety and maintenance.

Without any doubt, the area of bicycle safety where the greatest gains can be made is in the area of education. No better place to start than at school.
By teaching in the classroom, and outside in controlled, traffic-free environments, we are able to give children a clearer understanding of the hazards that face us on the road at every corner. As the cyclist matures, we often discover that the better cyclist makes a better driver.
