Bike To School Week

In 2008, Bike to Work BC included participation from more than ten communities and netted over 16,396 total riders, including 3,626 new riders. The results for each community including photos and key sponsors have been profiled in the Bike to Work BC Annual Report for 2008.

Want to encourage commuter cycling at your school? Bike to Work Victoria has developed a highly successful model to create a fun, high energy community event that supports people’s inherent need for fun and fitness, and is helping communities around the province get rolling.

Individual Participation: If your community is not "officially" participating in Bike to Work/School Week, but you and your classmates would like to, please go ahead and register. You might also want to challenge another school in or outside of your own community - or your parents!
